Reassuring support through the night
Evening and overnight hours can be difficult when a participant needs help with toileting, mobility, repositioning, safety monitoring or morning routines. Overnight care can provide practical support and greater reassurance for the participant and the family.
Overnight support may include
- Assistance with evening and morning personal care
- Help with toileting, walking, transfers or positioning
- Medication reminders at authorized times
- Safety monitoring and reassurance
- Light meal or hydration support according to the care plan
- Communication with the agency or family when an approved concern arises
Compassion Home Care offers overnight monitoring and may provide live-in or extended-hour support when staffing, program rules and authorized hours allow.
An honest note on availability
We do not advertise guaranteed 24-hour or live-in coverage. Extended-hour care depends on the participant's approved plan and on whether we can consistently staff the shift with caregivers who fit the household.
When you call, ask about the specific nights and hours you need. We will tell you what we can commit to and what we cannot.
Before you compare agencies: ask each one who covers a shift when the assigned caregiver is unavailable, and how quickly the office answers overnight.
Ask about nights, weekends and extended hours
Tell us the hours you are trying to cover and we will be straight with you about availability.
